We are recruiting: we are hiring a car painter in Bridgend county borough, Wales. Day-to-day duties: • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying Requirements: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Rotating shifts.
