Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press machine operator in Gogebic County, Michigan. You will work at a busy press shop. Day-to-day duties: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
