Conventional mill operator — Marion County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Marion County, Ohio. The job is at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On the job you will handle: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
