Precision welder wanted in Florence County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Florence County, South Carolina. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On a typical shift you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
