Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dogger in Carter County, Kentucky. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. On a typical shift you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Six days a week, one day off.
