Presser — Schuylkill County

Join our team: we are hiring a presser in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a garment factory. On the job you will handle: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Give each garment a final press before packing • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Full-time with occasional weekends.
