TIG welder — Afijio

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Afijio, Oyo State. You will work on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
