Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment presser in Potter County, South Dakota. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets On the job you will handle: • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
