Vacancy available: oven operator (Pennsylvania)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an oven operator in Forest County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. You should have: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Day to day you will pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity.
