Gas meter installer — Columbus County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Columbus County, North Carolina. The job is on commercial and industrial sites. On the job you will handle: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Driving licence for travel between sites • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing 4+ years on the tools preferred.
