Metal caster — McIntosh County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in McIntosh County, Oklahoma. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards The role involves: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
