Vacancy available: pipe tig welder (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Trimble County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances You will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
