Sheet metal press operator wanted in San Diego County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in San Diego County, California. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Record output and downtime on the production sheet You should have: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
