Immediate opening: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Clarke County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Day to day you will grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; work out the load weight and the lifting radius.
