Single needle operator — Union County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a single needle operator in Union County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
