Now hiring: we are hiring a road roller operator in Cumberland County, Illinois. The job is on an earthmoving and excavation site. Your main tasks: • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Part-time with flexible hours. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
