Immediate opening: we are hiring a dispatch rider in Henrico County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Smartphone with a working data connection for the delivery app • Own motorcycle or scooter in roadworthy condition, or willingness to use a company bike • Good knowledge of local roads, lanes and shortcuts Your main tasks: • Plan the fastest route using the delivery app and GPS navigation • Carry food orders in an insulated thermal box to keep meals hot • Sort failed deliveries and arrange a re-attempt or return to the hub • Collect parcels and documents from the despatch hub at the start of each shift • Collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments and reconcile the float at shift end • Scan the barcode on every consignment before pick-up and after drop-off Full-time, day shift.
