Flatlock machine operator wanted in Cameron County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Cameron County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory On a typical shift you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes.
