Immediate opening: core maker (Ohio)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Auglaize County, Ohio. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor On the job you will handle: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Full-time, day shift.
