Immediate opening: conventional mill operator (Tennessee)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Maury County, Tennessee. Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter 4+ years on the tools preferred.
