Immediate opening: conventional mill operator (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in San Jacinto County, Texas. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
