Cnc setter-operator • Wahkiakum County, Washington

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Wahkiakum County, Washington. You will be based at a busy machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Write and edit G-code programs at the control Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
