Immediate opening: we are hiring a sample machinist in Miller County, Missouri. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams The role involves change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
