On a typical shift you will boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter.
