Crane rigger — Onna

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Onna, Akwa Ibom State. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Confident with standard crane hand signals On the job you will handle: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio 1+ years on the tools preferred.
