Blocklayer • Clackamas County, Oregon

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a blocklayer in Clackamas County, Oregon. The job is on a new-build development. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Day-to-day duties: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
