Structural MIG welder — Callahan County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Callahan County, Texas. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. The role involves: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
