Formwork carpenter — Graham County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Graham County, North Carolina. The role involves cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN). Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
