Join our team: lathe programmer-operator (Northern Ireland)

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Armagh City Banbridge and Craigavon, Northern Ireland. You will run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; load and index turning tools in the turret; write and edit G-code programs at the control. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Six days a week, one day off.
