PVC profile cutter — Surry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC profile cutter in Surry County, Virginia. The job is at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile What we are looking for: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $5,300 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
