Vacancy available: core maker (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a core maker in Liverpool, England. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. Your main tasks: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
