Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar installer in Jackson County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Full-time, day shift.
