Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork erector in Panola County, Texas. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. What we are looking for: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Day to day you will read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured.
