Hoist operator — Giwa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hoist operator in Giwa, Kaduna State. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Your main tasks: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
