Brickwork mason — Motley County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Motley County, Texas. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. The role involves mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
