Now hiring: we are hiring a hoist operator in Bayfield County, Wisconsin. On the job you will handle: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
