Foundry operative — Paulding County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry operative in Paulding County, Georgia. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry On the job you will handle: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
