Vacancy available: chiller technician (Kansas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a chiller technician in Stevens County, Kansas. You will be based at a supermarket cold-chain site. Requirements: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints Day to day you will trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $5,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
