Overlocker operator — Webster County

Join our team: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Webster County, Missouri. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Day-to-day duties: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
