Thermal insulation technician — Macon County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Macon County, Illinois. You will torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks. Requirements: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges 1+ years on the tools preferred.
