Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Montgomery County, Kansas. The job is on a high-rise building site. On a typical shift you will carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; read lift plans and method statements before starting; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals Rotating shifts.
