Vacancy available: construction helper (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a construction helper in Bowie County, Texas. You will be based on a commercial building project. On the job you will handle: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction Ideal candidate: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites Six days a week, one day off.
