We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Muscatine County, Iowa. The role involves glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw. Ideal candidate: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
