Heavy equipment operator — Stonewall County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Stonewall County, Texas. The job is at a landfill site. You should have: • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery On the job you will handle: • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
