Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Richmond County, Virginia. You will work at a high-rise construction project. Day to day you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
