Groundworker wanted in Edgefield County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundworker in Edgefield County, South Carolina. You will be based on a road and bridge project. On the job you will handle: • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage Requirements: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits.
