Press operator — Franklin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press operator in Franklin County, Georgia. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. The role involves: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Rotating shifts.
