Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Franklin County, Iowa. You should have: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control On the job you will handle: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance $3,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
