We are recruiting: power float operator (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Lancaster County, Virginia. You will be based at an infrastructure site. Day-to-day duties: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
