Vacancy available: bulldozer operator (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Gonzales County, Texas. The job is in an open-cast mine. The role involves break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension. You should have: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings Part-time with flexible hours. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
